Camera Reviews: 16.7 Mega Pixel, Canon EOS 1D Mark II $7,000

Tremendous resolution; professional body; many improvements over original
EOS 1Ds; superior handling; optional wireless photo transfer.
Originally developed by Canon, this new super-high resolution CMOS sensor
features a record-breaking 16.7 million effective pixels, which translates
to a maximum image resolution of 4,992 x 3,328 pixels. Since the sensor’s
imaging area is the same size as in full-frame 35mm SLRs (24 x 36mm), all
of Canon’s professional EF lenses (except EF-S lenses) work the same as on
35mm film cameras, with exactly the same coverage.

General: Dimensions (W x D x H) 6.14" x 3.15" x 6.2" - Weight 2.68 lb.

Canon's EOS 1Ds Mark II offers a wealth of features and the highest resolution
of any small-format digital SLR, with a price to match.
